We hope that the following questions will help you when placing an order on our website, if we have not answered your query in the questions below then please do not hesitate to contact us.

How do you decide which wines to stock?

All of our wines are chosen with you in mind, by Dr. Arabella Woodrow, Master of Wine (see below) at Broadland Wineries, following stringent taste tests. We intentionally offer a solid but unconfusing range of wines, many of which have won awards, that have been selected for their excellent flavours and value for money. Our Three Mills brand is a market leading British wine and we've been producing Fruit wines for 50 years, so we're pretty well known for those too! 

What is a Master of Wine?

The most prestigious title one can hold in the wine world, Master of Wine (MW) is a qualification awarded to those who have demonstrated, by way of rigorous examination, a thorough knowledge of all aspects of wine. It is held by just 322 people in the world. Dr. Arabella Woodrow is our resident Master of Wine here at Broadland Wineries.

 

Can I place an order over the telephone?

Certainly,  if you can’t find what you are looking for or you would like assistance with your purchase from one of our team then please call us on 01603 872474.

When will my order arrive?

As soon as you place an order with us, your products are hand-picked and hand-packed before being delivered directly to your door. We do our best to get your products to you within 48 hours if you order Mon-Thurs, though we do recommend you allow 3-5 days. Unfortunately, we do not currently have the resources to deliver over the weekend - if you want to help us introduce this, please recommend us to your friends.

How much do you charge for delivery?

Delivery is FREE on orders of 12 bottles/2 cases or more. For orders of 11 bottles and under to mainland UK, delivery is charged at £7.15. For further information please see our delivery terms and conditions.

Where do you deliver to?

We want everyone to enjoy our wines and currently deliver to all mainland UK addresses. Highlands and islands may incur additional costs and longer delivery times so please telephone us on 01603 872474 if you have any particualr requirements and we will do our best to get you the best price possible.

Do I have to order a minimum number of bottles?

No, unlike most wine websites you can buy 1 bottle or 1000 bottles - we do not implement minimum order quantities because we do not want to restrict how much you buy. Of course, for smaller orders there will be a delivery charge but orders of 12 bottles or more are delivered to your door for free.

Why do I have to pay through PayPal?

You do not have to have a PayPal accout, you can also pay via debit/credit card or cheque. PayPal is simply our gateway for ensuring all transactions are as secure as possible. PayPal has been a leader in online payments for more than a decade and considered as one of the most secure online payment platforms in the world. PayPal secures financial information on its encrypted servers to ensure the safest possible transaction for you. Broadland Wineries Direct uses PayPal as it accepts all major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal accounts. This is the most diverse way of allowing you to pay using the method that you want to.

What other methods of payment do you accept?

If you would rather not pay via debit or credit card or through your paypal account then you can place a mail order and pay by cheque. Alternatively, if you are near the winery then pop in and say hello. We have a small shop on site and love to meet our customers. Cash and cheque payments are accepted at the winery.

What happens if the product I purchased is temporarily out of stock?

Some of our products are incredibly popular and on the very rare occasion we sell out of a product we will contact you to discuss your order and do our best to offer an alternative of equal or higher value. However, don’t worry, we’ll always check with you before sending anything you didn’t request.

I can't wait for my wine to be delivered, can I find your products in store?
